Privacy, in plain words.

What we collect

Your email address, the names and story details you type (memories, inside jokes, how you met), and the photos you choose. Payment details go straight to Whop and never reach us. We keep a private order link for each song and a hashed (scrambled) copy of your IP address and email for abuse limits.

How we use it

To write your song, sing it, and build your lyric video, and to send your preview and download link. Your photos are used only to build the video, on our own systems. They are not sent to an AI service. The text of your story is sent to AI services: a language model that writes the lyrics and a music model, through fal.ai, that sings them. Those providers process it to return your song.

Analytics

The public pages of this store use a small analytics script that we run to count visits and see which steps people reach. It uses a cookie to recognise a returning browser (it lasts up to a year and holds a random ID, no personal details). It records the pages you open, clicks, how far you scroll, and your rough country, device type and where you came from. Your IP address is scrambled with a key that changes every day, and the raw address is never stored. We also record the steps you reach by name, such as starting the form, asking for a free preview, watching it, opening checkout and paying, so we can see where people get stuck. To link those steps, your order keeps the same random ID. We do not record the names, story text, email or photos you type or choose, and we do not record sessions or screens. The script itself is switched off on your private order page; the steps from that page are sent without its address. Analytics events are deleted after about 13 months.

How long we keep it

Photos and story text are deleted 30 days after your video is delivered, or 7 days after a preview you did not buy. Finished videos stay available for 1 year, then are deleted. We never use customer photos, stories or videos in marketing.

Who can see it

Anyone with your private order link can view your preview (and your video after you pay), so share the link carefully. The pages and files sit behind a long random key that cannot be guessed. Our hosting and storage providers (Vercel and its storage partners) hold the data for us. We do not sell your data.

Payments and refunds

Whop is the merchant of record: it takes your payment, sends your receipt, and handles refunds. Use the support and refund options on your Whop receipt. See Whop’s own privacy policy for how it handles payment data.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your order early, or to send a copy of what we hold. Email support@lovesongreels.com and quote your order link.
